My mom is visiting, and as we lamented getting tired of the same books, she reminded me of what they would do solve the problem when I was little. The monthly trips to the library meant filling up the old style grocery boxes with books. Being a country kid, story time was my parents reading to me. If I was lucky, a monthly trip to the library included story time. When I was older, the librarian at my school did stories. Right now M gets lots of story reading at daycare, but we still go to story time at the Minneapolis Central Library when we have a free Saturday morning.
